Surehalt DB538SH front disc brake pad set. Just the one set here.A classic car pad. The DB number is the Australian and New Zealand pad numbering system, and DB538 is an old one. It covers a spread of cars that were assembled or sold here in the seventies: Holden Torana LC and LJ, four cylinder, front disc with rear drums Ford Escort mark one 1.2, 1.5 and 1.5 GT, on the Lucas caliper Lotus 1.6, mark one and mark two, also Lucas caliper Triumph and Volvo applications in the same number What the label says. Surehalt abbreviate the application down to D/P F FRD HOL HILL VOLVO. That reads as disc pad, front, Ford, Holden, Hill and Volvo. The HILL is most likely Hillman, which used the same Lucas caliper. It is an abbreviation on a label though, not a full name, so we are not going to pretend it is confirmed.The caliper is the thing to check. Several of these cars ran the Lucas caliper and several did not. If you are working on an Escort or a Lotus, confirm what is actually bolted to your car before ordering, because the same model year can turn up with either.Front axle only. The F in the code means front. Toranas of this era ran drums at the back, so there is no matching rear pad to go with it.Off the box Surehalt DB538SH Disc pad, front axle Application code D/P F FRD HOL HILL VOLVO FitmentAnything calling for DB538 on the front. Send the rego or tell us what the caliper is and we will confirm it against the number.Fitting Old cars, old fasteners. Give the caliper bolts some penetrating oil before you lean on them. Check the flexible hoses while the wheel is off. On a car this age the hoses often predate the pads. Replace both sides together, then bed the new material in with light braking. Have a look at the disc faces too. A pad on a ridged disc will not last. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Hand tight, then the extra turn printed on the filter. Check the old seal did not stay behind on the block. Start it up and look for leaks before it comes off the jack. ACL Holden Commodore VS VT 3.8 V6 Inlet Manifold Gasket Set - ACL IMS4103
ACL IMS4103 inlet manifold gasket set for the Holden Commodore VS and VT with the 3.8 litre Ecotec V6. New old stock, never used. Still sealed on its card. One in stock. What it is. The gaskets that seal the inlet manifold to the heads on the 3.8 Ecotec V6. The factory lower manifold gaskets are plastic and are well known for failing. When they go, coolant can leak into the oil and cause serious engine damage. This set replaces them with composite gaskets that have a moulded rubber sealing bead. What is in the set Two lower inlet manifold gaskets with rubber sealing bead End seals and the other gaskets shown in the photo What it fits Holden Commodore VS, 1995 to 1997, 3.8 V6 Ecotec Holden Commodore VT, 1997 to 2000, 3.8 V6 Ecotec Holden Calais, Berlina and Statesman of the same series Fuel injected, non supercharged engines. Not for VX, VY or later models, which use a different set. Fitment Check your car is a VS or VT with the 3.8 V6. Send us your rego and we will confirm before you buy. Fitting Drain the coolant before removing the manifold. Clean all sealing faces back to bare metal. Fit the new gaskets and torque the bolts in the correct order. Change the engine oil afterwards if coolant got into it. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Exedy GMK-6809 215mm clutch kit for the Holden Rodeo KB and TF with the 2.0 or 2.3 petrol engine, 1984 to 1993. Also fits the Isuzu Piazza turbo. Supplied by Exedy New Zealand. New old stock, never fitted. The box has some shelf wear and a small tear. The parts inside are new and unused. One in stock. What it is. The clutch cover (pressure plate) and clutch disc. A worn clutch slips under load, especially uphill or when towing. You may also notice a high biting point, judder when pulling away, or a burning smell. What is in the kit Clutch cover (pressure plate) Clutch disc, 215mm The box print says this kit comes without the release bearing. Check yours and replace it at the same time if it is worn. What it fits Holden Rodeo KB, from 1984, 2.0 (G200Z) and 2.3 (4ZD1) petrol, including KB29, KB44, KB48 and KB49 Holden Rodeo TF, 1988 to 1993, petrol, including TFR16 Isuzu Piazza turbo (YB) Diesel Rodeos are not listed for this kit. Check the size of your old disc, or send us your rego and we will confirm before you buy. Fitting Remove the gearbox and the old clutch. Check the flywheel face and the spigot bearing. Resurface or replace the flywheel if it is scored or heat marked. Centre the new disc with an alignment tool and torque the cover bolts evenly to spec. Refit the gearbox and check clutch pedal free play. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
