Woking Fiat Punto GT Bravo Front Brake Pads - Woking P4873.11
Woking P4873.11 front brake pad set. Four pads, enough for the front axle. Made in Spain by Eurofren Systems at Mutilva Baja in Navarra. We stock two P4873 sets, so check the WVA number first. This one is WVA 21927 and 21929, approval E9 90R-01112/740. Our P4873.00 is WVA 21928, approval E1 90R-01022/104. Both list the Brava 1.8 16V and the 1.9TD, so the model name alone will not separate them. The number stamped on the back of your old pad will.Fiat, and mostly the interesting ones. The box lists the applications precisely, so here they are as printed: Bravo and Brava 1.6i 16v with ABS, from 09.95 Bravo and Brava 1.8i 16v, 95 to 97, and 1.9TD from 96 Punto mark one 1.2i 16v Sporting, 04.97 to 01.99 Punto mark one 1.4i GT Turbo, 09.96 to 01.99 Punto mark one 1.7 TD, 01.97 to 01.99 Note how tight the Punto dates are. The mark one GT Turbo and Sporting both stop at January 1999, so a later car takes a different pad. The Punto applications are unique to this set, so if that is your car, this is the one.Type approved to ECE R90. The mark is E9 90R-01112/740, with ASS 587 11-0 alongside it. R90 means the pad has been tested to perform within a set margin of the original equipment part, which is the standard a replacement pad has to meet to be road legal in this market.WVA 21927 at 17.6mm thick, and WVA 21929. WVA is the European pad dimension code, so if your old pads carry either of those numbers stamped on the backing plate, these are the right shape. What that WVA number opens up. Pads sharing 21927 and 21929 include Brembo P 23 070, Ferodo FDB1056, ATE 13.0460-7064.2, Bosch BP173 and Febi Bilstein 16091. Useful for checking you are in the right family, though always confirm against your own car rather than the list.Off the box Woking P4873.11 Approval E9 90R-01112/740, ASS 587 11-0 WVA 21927 at 17.6mm, and WVA 21929 Four pads, front axle Production lot 02C26 352434 MS 1164 Made in Spain FitmentAny of the Fiats listed above, where the old pad carries WVA 21927 or 21929 on the front. One set here, so if you want discs to go with it, ask and we will see what is on the shelf.Fitting Pads go in as a full axle set. Never just one side. Push the piston back gently and keep an eye on the reservoir, because the fluid has to go somewhere. Clean the carrier and the slide pins while it is apart. Most pad complaints come back to seized slides. Bed them in properly before you need them in anger. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Woking Fiat Bravo Brava Front Brake Pads - Woking P4873.00
Woking P4873.00 front brake pad set. One set in stock.Read this before you order, because we stock two P4873 sets. This one and our P4873.11 share a base number and they share model names, but they are not the same pad: P4873.00, this set. WVA 21928. Approval E1 90R-01022/104. FMSI 9246 D2015. P4873.11. WVA 21927 and 21929. Approval E9 90R-01112/740. The model name will not tell you which you need. Both sets list the Brava 1.8 16V and the 1.9TD. The thing that separates them is the WVA number stamped on the back of your old pad. Pull one out, read the number, then order. If the old pads are already in the bin, send us the rego and we will work it out from the brake system fitted. What this set covers, exactly as the box prints it: Fiat Bravo, mark one Fiat Brava mark one 1.8 16V Fiat Brava mark one 1.9D Fiat Brava mark one 1.9TD, from 10.95 The 1.9D naturally aspirated diesel appears here and not on the .11 set, so that one is a clean match.Approved to ECE R90 under E1 90R-01022/104, with ASS 587 01-0 alongside. That approval is the legal minimum for a replacement pad sold for road use, and it means the friction performance was tested against the original part.FMSI 9246 D2015 is also printed, which is the North American pad shape code. Handy if you are cross-checking against an American catalogue rather than a European one.Off the box Woking P4873.00 Approval E1 90R-01022/104, ASS 587 01-0 WVA 21928 FMSI 9246 D2015 Front axle Production lot 02F28 FitmentFiat Bravo and Brava as listed, where the old pad carries WVA 21928. Check that number rather than going on the model alone.Fitting Both sides at once. A single side will pull under braking. Take it easy for the first few hundred kilometres while the friction material beds to the disc. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Surehalt Holden Torana Escort Front Brake Pads - Surehalt DB538SH
Surehalt DB538SH front disc brake pad set. Just the one set here.A classic car pad. The DB number is the Australian and New Zealand pad numbering system, and DB538 is an old one. It covers a spread of cars that were assembled or sold here in the seventies: Holden Torana LC and LJ, four cylinder, front disc with rear drums Ford Escort mark one 1.2, 1.5 and 1.5 GT, on the Lucas caliper Lotus 1.6, mark one and mark two, also Lucas caliper Triumph and Volvo applications in the same number What the label says. Surehalt abbreviate the application down to D/P F FRD HOL HILL VOLVO. That reads as disc pad, front, Ford, Holden, Hill and Volvo. The HILL is most likely Hillman, which used the same Lucas caliper. It is an abbreviation on a label though, not a full name, so we are not going to pretend it is confirmed. The caliper is the thing to check. Several of these cars ran the Lucas caliper and several did not. If you are working on an Escort or a Lotus, confirm what is actually bolted to your car before ordering, because the same model year can turn up with either.Front axle only. The F in the code means front. Toranas of this era ran drums at the back, so there is no matching rear pad to go with it.Off the box Surehalt DB538SH Disc pad, front axle Application code D/P F FRD HOL HILL VOLVO FitmentAnything calling for DB538 on the front. Send the rego or tell us what the caliper is and we will confirm it against the number.Fitting Old cars, old fasteners. Give the caliper bolts some penetrating oil before you lean on them. Check the flexible hoses while the wheel is off. On a car this age the hoses often predate the pads. Replace both sides together, then bed the new material in with light braking. Have a look at the disc faces too. A pad on a ridged disc will not last. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.

Supercheap Auto NZ list the Bosch version of DB2268 at $127.99, and theirs is a special order. Ours is on the shelf.Where it goes. DB2268 is the front set for the GM small car platform built in Korea, which is why the box says Chevrolet and Daewoo: Holden Cruze JH, including the 1.6 SRi and the 2.0 diesel wagon Chevrolet Cruze Chevrolet Orlando, 2012 to 2017 Chevrolet Trax, 2012 to 2017 Plenty of Cruzes here, and the fronts wear out well before anything else on the car does.Organic and copper free, which is the point of this box. Organic means a non-asbestos organic friction material rather than semi-metallic. It runs quieter, it is kinder to the disc, and it makes less of the black dust that coats a set of alloys. Copper free means the compound meets the copper restrictions that have come in overseas, so there is no copper washing off your brakes and into the stormwater.General Motors part numbers covered by this number include 13301207, 13301234, 13301235, 13374966, 13412272, 13412807, 13412809, 13412810, 22737859, 22799077, 42570931, 42589333, 42793253, 42793254, 95516191, 95516193, 95530017 and 95530019. OE+ Audi A4 VW Golf Polo Front Ceramic Brake Pads - DB1400CP
OE+ DB1400CP front brake pad set. Ceramic, which is the step up from the organic sets on our shelf. Sixteen sets in stock, so a workshop can take a few.The 9mm step is the detail that matters. The label reads D/P F AVW POLO GOLF 9mm STEP. That step is the height of the ledge on the backing plate. It separates this pad from several other Audi and VW fronts that otherwise look identical. Measure it on the old pad before you order. A pad with the wrong step will not sit properly in the carrier.Where it goes. DB1400 is the front set across a good slice of the nineties Volkswagen Group range: Audi A4 B5, 1.8 through to 2.8, roughly 1995 to 2001 VW Golf VW Passat VW Polo VW Vento Why ceramic. A ceramic compound runs quieter than semi-metallic and throws far less dust. It also holds its friction level better once things get hot. It is easier on the disc too, which matters on a car where the front discs are not cheap. The trade off is that ceramic wants a proper bed-in before it works at its best, so do not judge it on the first drive.Off the box OE+ DB1400CP, Ceramic Disc Brake Pads Application code D/P F AVW POLO GOLF 9mm STEP Front axle Barcode 0110004130556 FitmentAnything calling for DB1400 on the front with the 9mm step. Send us your rego and we will confirm it against the number before you buy.Fitting Pads go in axle sets. Replace both sides together or the car will pull. Check the discs while you are in there. New pads on a lipped disc will not bed properly. Clean and grease the slide pins. Seized pins are what kills a set of rears early. Bed them in gently for the first couple of hundred kilometres. Bosch Mitsubishi Triton MK 2.8 Front Brake Pads - Bosch BP3144
Genuine Bosch BP3144 front brake pad set, catalogued as DB2160BL. Fifteen sets in stock, the deepest brake pad line we hold.Front axle, Mitsubishi Triton MK. The 2.8 diesel with the 4M40 engine, built 1996 to 2006. Both drivelines: K67T, two wheel drive ute K77T, four wheel drive ute K77T cab chassis GLX and GLS trims These are everywhere here. The MK Triton came to New Zealand new and kept arriving as a used import. A lot of them are still doing farm and trade work. Front pads on a loaded ute are a consumable, not a once in a decade job.Why fifteen sets matters. Run a small fleet or a workshop that sees these regularly? This is enough to keep a few on the shelf rather than ordering one at a time. One thing to check. More than one front pad shape was fitted across the Triton range over those ten years. Compare the shape and thickness against your old pads. Or send us the chassis number, starting K67T or K77T, and we will confirm it.What we can tell you Bosch BP3144 Catalogue number DB2160BL Front axle, four pads to the set Genuine Bosch, boxed FitmentMitsubishi Triton MK 2.8 diesel on the front. Chassis number or rego and we will check it against the number before anything ships.Fitting Ute calipers live a hard life. Free off the slide pins and grease them properly while it is apart. Check the disc thickness at the same time. A worn disc will eat a new set of pads. Do both sides, and bed them in before you load the tray up. If the ute tows, expect to look at the fronts more often than a car. Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
