Description
Woking P4873.00 front brake pad set. One set in stock.
Read this before you order, because we stock two P4873 sets. This one and our P4873.11 share a base number and they share model names, but they are not the same pad:
-
P4873.00, this set. WVA 21928. Approval E1 90R-01022/104. FMSI 9246 D2015.
-
P4873.11. WVA 21927 and 21929. Approval E9 90R-01112/740.
The model name will not tell you which you need. Both sets list the Brava 1.8 16V and the 1.9TD. The thing that separates them is the WVA number stamped on the back of your old pad. Pull one out, read the number, then order. If the old pads are already in the bin, send us the rego and we will work it out from the brake system fitted.
What this set covers, exactly as the box prints it:
- Fiat Bravo, mark one
- Fiat Brava mark one 1.8 16V
- Fiat Brava mark one 1.9D
- Fiat Brava mark one 1.9TD, from 10.95
The 1.9D naturally aspirated diesel appears here and not on the .11 set, so that one is a clean match.
Approved to ECE R90 under E1 90R-01022/104, with ASS 587 01-0 alongside. That approval is the legal minimum for a replacement pad sold for road use, and it means the friction performance was tested against the original part.
FMSI 9246 D2015 is also printed, which is the North American pad shape code. Handy if you are cross-checking against an American catalogue rather than a European one.

Fitment
Fiat Bravo and Brava as listed, where the old pad carries WVA 21928. Check that number rather than going on the model alone.
Fitting
- Both sides at once. A single side will pull under braking.
- Wind or press the piston back slowly and watch the fluid level at the master cylinder.
- Free off the slide pins and grease them before the new pads go in.
- Take it easy for the first few hundred kilometres while the friction material beds to the disc.
Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
