Read this before you order. This is the four piston pad. DB1170 is listed against the four pot front caliper, and on the Subarus specifically the Sumitomo four piston setup. If your car has two pot fronts, this is the wrong pad no matter what the badge says. Count the pistons, or count the bleed nipples, before you buy.

Stable to 650 degrees and ECE R90 certified, which matters more on this list of cars than on most.

Fitting

  • Confirm four pistons in the front caliper first. That is the whole ball game on this pad.
  • Pads go in axle sets. Replace both sides together or the car will pull.
  • Check the discs. New pads on a lipped disc will not bed properly.
  • Bed them in properly before you lean on them.

    We ship to New Zealand addresses only, including rural delivery. Orders are
    dispatched within 1–3 business days. Once dispatched, NZ Post usually takes 2–3
    business days to main centres and 3–5 business days to regional and rural areas.
