These terms apply to all purchases made through thebros.co.nz. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. About TheBros

TheBros is a New Zealand-registered company selling automotive parts online. We are operated by Mackenzie Skinner and Tim Swainson.

2. New Old Stock (NOS) Definition

New Old Stock means parts that were manufactured, packaged, and held in NZ trade or distributor warehouse storage, then cleared from inventory. NOS parts are brand new and have never been installed, used, or returned. Packaging may show signs of storage age — this is normal and is not considered a defect.

3. Fitment Responsibility

All vehicle fitment information is provided in good faith based on supplier and manufacturer data. It is the buyer's sole responsibility to verify that any part is correct for their specific vehicle — including make, model, year, variant, engine code, and any other relevant specification — before placing an order. TheBros accepts no liability for parts ordered for an incorrect vehicle application. We strongly recommend confirming the manufacturer's part number against your vehicle before purchasing.

4. Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

If you are purchasing goods as a consumer (for personal or household use), your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply and cannot be excluded. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes those rights.

If you are purchasing goods for the purposes of a business, and you acknowledge this at the time of purchase, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply to your transaction. Business buyers accept goods on a sold-as-described basis.

5. Product Descriptions and Accuracy

We describe our products as accurately as possible based on information provided by suppliers and manufacturers. For clearance lots and bulk listings, descriptions are based on available supplier data. If there is a material discrepancy between the listing and what you receive, contact us within 7 days.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheBros' liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the purchase price of the goods in question. TheBros is not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special loss or damage arising from the use or installation of parts purchased through our store.

7. Pricing

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of checkout is the price you pay.

8. Clearance and Lot Sales

Clearance lot and bulk purchase listings are sold as described. These items are final sale and are not eligible for return except in the case of a material misdescription or genuine defect (for consumer purchases under the CGA).

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
