Bosch FR7DPP332 spark plug, part number 0 242 236 511. Made in Germany. Seven in stock.
Double Platinum is printed on the carton, which is the whole point of this one. The PP in the code means platinum on both electrodes, not just the centre. That is a step above the single platinum plugs on our shelf and a long way above a copper one.
Two carton generations, one plug. Our stock came in both the older grey and yellow box and the later blue one. Part number, barcode, gap and torque are identical across the two, so they are interchangeable. You may receive either.
Do not bend the ground electrode. On a single platinum plug the ground strap is plain steel and will take a nudge. On a double platinum there is a platinum pad welded to it, and bending it can shear the pad off. The box gives 0.9mm. Check it, but do not adjust it unless you have to.
The numbers we can stand behind. The OE references are Mitsubishi MD322771 and Daihatsu 90048-51117-000. Beyond that we have not found a vehicle list we would put our name to, so we have left one off rather than guess. Send us the rego or the code off the old plug and we will check it properly.

Fitment
Whatever calls for Bosch FR7DPP332, NGK IFR6D-10, Denso IK20 or Mitsubishi MD322771.
Fitting
- Cold engine, and work on one cylinder at a time.
- Gap is 0.9mm out of the box. Leave the ground strap alone if you can.
- Seat it, then 90 degrees. Or 28 Nm if you would rather use the wrench.
- Double platinum is a long life plug, so fit a full set and get the mileage out of them.
