Nissan Patrol MQ MK 3.3 SD33 Glow Plug - Bosch GPN-323

Description

Bosch GPN-323 glow plug. New old stock, never fitted. The box shows storage age. The part is new and unused.

Nissan Patrol MQ and MK, 3.3 diesel. The SD33 engine, 3246cc, 95hp and 70kW, built 1980 to 1987. Naturally aspirated and turbo, across cab chassis, utility and wagon.

Thirteen in stock, and the SD33 is a six cylinder. That is two complete sets with one spare. Worth knowing, because a six cylinder set is the sort of thing you usually have to chase across three sellers.

Eleven volt. 67mm long, 9mm spanner.

The numbers to check against the old plug. Nissan 11065-37506 and 11065-37507. The same plug is Bosch 0250202015. The common aftermarket equivalent is NGK Y-103, also sold as NGK 6125. Others are Champion CH161, Denso DG-157, Delphi HDS248, HKT PN-81, Lucas LP012, FAE 74176, ERA 886080, Zexel 4078020180, Stellox 201070SX, Kaishin 39039, Magneti Marelli 062407157312 and Ashika, Japanparts or Japko PN81.

A note for machinery owners. Because this plug crosses to the NGK Y-103, owners of Yanmar and Kubota industrial engines sometimes use it, the 3TNE series among them. That comes from owner reports rather than a manufacturer listing, so measure and check the voltage before you commit.

Fitment

Nissan Patrol MQ and MK with the 3.3 SD33, 1980 to 1987. Anything calling for 11065-37506, 11065-37507, Bosch 0250202015 or NGK Y-103. Send us your rego and we will check it.

Fitting

  • Forty year old plugs seize. Cold engine, penetrant, and take your time.
  • If it twists rather than turns, stop. A snapped plug in an SD33 head is a big job.
  • Light torque going back in.
  • Replace the whole set. Mixing new and forty year old plugs gives you an uneven cold start.

Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
