Description
Water pump for the Nissan CA engine. GMB GWN-35A, one pump boxed. The carton reads distributed by GMB Japan.
Old warehouse stock and nothing more. The cardboard is tired and scruffy. The pump inside it is untouched.
The printed panel gives Nissan 21010-06E25 and 21010-06E26. The distributor label on the lid reads W/PUMP NIS CA18.

Go by the engine code. The model names and chassis codes on this label do not all pair up the way Nissan used them. A yellow warehouse dot also covers part of the year column. Your engine code is the reliable bit.
Not for the Silvia. Australian suppliers who carry GWN-35A list it for the CA16DE and CA18DE. They state plainly that it does not suit Silvia models.
Fitment
Nissan CA16 and CA18, per the label. Tell us the engine code off your rocker cover, or send the rego, and we will work it out.
Fitting
- This pump sits behind the timing belt, so the belt, tensioner and seals all come into the job.
- Flush the system while it is empty. These engines are old enough to be full of sludge.
- Fresh gasket on a scraped face, and no sealant unless the manual asks for it.
- Top it up, run the heater hot, then check the level again once cold.
- Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
