Still in its shrink wrap and never fitted. The carton has aged underneath it.

Sizes off the label: A=21, B=56, C=26, D=70. In plain words, 21 teeth inside, a 56 mm seal, 26 outer spline teeth. The A44 is a 44 tooth ABS ring.

That spline and seal size matches the outer joint on the Mazda 323 BG era cars. The Ford Laser of the same era shares that base. This is the version with the ring.

Count the teeth. Mazda fitted several outer joints to these cars. Check the spline count on yours and look for an ABS ring before you order. Or send us the plate and we will look it up.

  • Wipe the shaft splines down and use the new circlip.
  • Grease the joint, then the boot and clamps.
  • Axle nut to the factory figure, then stake or pin it.

    We ship to New Zealand addresses only, including rural delivery. Orders are
    dispatched within 1–3 business days. Once dispatched, NZ Post usually takes 2–3
    business days to main centres and 3–5 business days to regional and rural areas.
