One joint, still shrink wrapped, never on a car. The box shows its years.

The label gives A=30, B=56, C=26, D=75.0. That is 30 teeth inside, a 56 mm seal and 26 outer spline teeth. The A44 stands for a 44 tooth ABS ring.

The supplier label on the box puts it on the Astina and Eunos from 1989, with ABS.

Worth counting first. There is more than one outer joint across these cars. Count the splines on the one coming off and check for the ring. Or we can check it off your rego.

Mazda Astina and Eunos, 1989 on, with ABS, as printed on the label. Rego to us and we will confirm it.

Fitting

  • New circlip, splines cleaned off first.
  • Pack it with CV grease and fit a fresh boot and clamps.
  • Axle nut to the book figure, staked or pinned.
  • ABS light out, then a test drive on full lock.
  • Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
