Nissan Pulsar GTi-R RNN14 SR20DET Water Pump - Paraut V3-122

Description

Water pump for the Nissan Pulsar GTi-R. Paraut part number V3-122, one pump to a box.

This one never made it onto a car. It is old stock, so the carton has aged on a shelf. Nobody has touched the pump inside.

The box prints the car as PULSAR RNN14 with the SR20DET engine, built from August 1990 to July 1994. RNN14 is the GTi-R. The reference number on the box is Nissan 21010-54C00.

Parts catalogues put 21010-54C00 on the GTi-R RNN14 4WD. Nissan has discontinued it, which is why they are getting hard to find.

Before you order.

The SR engine family used more than one water pump. Catalogues put this one on the 4WD GTi-R. Compare the bolt pattern, the pulley and the impeller with your old pump. Or send us your rego and we will look it up.

Fitting

  • Drain and flush the system first. Coolant in a car this age is due for a change anyway.
  • Clean the block face back to bare metal so the new gasket seats.
  • Fit new hoses and a thermostat while the front of the engine is open.
  • Refill, bleed the air out, then run it to temperature and check for leaks.
  • Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
