Toyota Camry, Vista Strut Mount - Tenacity 02-20621

Description

Strut mount for the Toyota Camry and Vista. Tenacity 02-20621, also coded ASMTO1124. One mount supplied.

Never fitted. Old stock, and the Tenacity bag has not been opened.

Fitment

The label reads Camry/Vista Toyota. The Vista was the Japanese sister car to the Camry, so the two share a lot of parts. The label gives no years, and it does not say front or rear.

Match it on the studs. Hold the photo against the mount you are taking out. Count the studs, check their spacing and look at the centre hole. If that leaves any doubt, send us the rego.

The mount sits at the top of the strut where it bolts to the body. A worn one knocks over bumps or clunks as you turn.

Fitting

  • A proper spring compressor, every time. A loaded coil spring is dangerous.
  • Replace them in pairs across the axle.
  • Wheel alignment once it is back together.
  • Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.
