Front brake pad wear sensor for the Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg. Woking 001108. The box lists the Cayenne from June 2010 and the Touareg 7P5.

New old stock. Never fitted. The box is the only part that looks old.

A wear sensor, not a set of pads. It is the small plug and wire that sits in the pad. As the pad wears down it puts the dashboard warning light on. The pads themselves are a separate purchase.

Cross references match Woking 001108 to Volkswagen part 7P0 907 637 A and Porsche part 958 612 365 00. Other brands sell the same sensor as TRW GIC324, Pagid P8603, Textar 98045300 and febi 34497. It is a front axle sensor, roughly 295 mm long, with a two pin plug.

Fitment

Porsche Cayenne 92A from 2010, front, with steel brakes. It does not suit cars on ceramic PCCB brakes. Volkswagen Touareg 7P5, front. On the Touareg, VW list 7P0 907 637 A for the Hybrid. Most Touaregs with 330 mm front discs take 7P0 907 637 instead. Read the number off your old sensor, or send us the rego.

The box also lists it for use with Woking pad sets 1245300 and 1300300.

Fitting

  • New sensor with every set of new pads.
  • Clip the lead back through its original guides so it cannot chafe.
  • Best fitted by a qualified mechanic.

    We ship to New Zealand addresses only, including rural delivery. Orders are
    dispatched within 1–3 business days. Once dispatched, NZ Post usually takes 2–3
    business days to main centres and 3–5 business days to regional and rural areas.
